A Fun New Outlet For My Crafty Bug
For over a year now, I have been taking watercolor painting classes at my local community center. Definitely, watercolor painting is much harder than I ever expected, but it's also really fun! While I'm a long way from making anything I'd dare try to sell, I'm enjoying playing and gifting to friends.
Small scale items suit me well, such as bookmarks and card-sized paintings.
A friend mentioned buying photo insert cards to transform my pieces into blank greeting cards that I can gift to friends and family. I thought that was a fantastic idea. I like the idea of sharing my paintings in a way that friends won't feel obligated to hang them on the wall. So I bought the supplies and have started a collection:
