Butterflies

I really do intend to FINISH a project one of these days.  But in the meantime, I've started some butterflies.

These are about the quickest thing I've made so far, but they still take time.  Next step will be to mosaic them once the concrete has set.

  1. Oh, those are so cute. I'm the non-crafty mom of three crafty girls. My girls totally wish to be adopted into a home with an artsy mom who would do projects like that with them.

  5. Thanks, Tommy! No, you didn't miss anything. I hadn't posted anything prior on this project (didn't realize anyone was paying attention, heh). I did make the butterflies in the same manner as I made this flower:

Though you've given me a great excuse to make another butterfly. Stay posted and I'll make another butterfly, this time providing more detailed photos and instructions. But you've got to promise to post to your blog some photos of your project when it's done. I'd love to see it! ;-)

  6. You got it and I will give you credit on it,hopefully it will turn out,Ive got a plan for what I call a heart garden..I want a garden that I can actually walk into thru a gate and see nothing but the garden ,the shape of a heart, and with a seating area, and actually feel like I'm one of the plants there.Your butterflys and birdbath would be a great accent in the Heart Garden..
