The Weeds.....Are Gone!!

What a mess this was! I don't know where all these weeds came from. They weren't here the first couple springs after we put this rock in. But this year, kaboom!

It took nearly 3 hours, but I've finally ridded the whole area of every last weed. What's left is just some mossy stuff I'm choosing to leave to give the area a more natural look.

What a chore, but I'm glad it's done. Before I know it, it will be time to start planting and enjoying the side yard. I can't do that when every time I sit down on my bench I think, "Oh God, look at all these weeds!" Now, I can grab a root beer and relax!
